  • The Great Big Crunch Thanks to a donation of 450 apples from Drummond Farms, all of our Mohawk Gardens students and staff participated in Halton Food for Thought's The Great Big Crunch on Thursday, October 25th along with over 100 schools across the Halton region. During our morning assembly, we laughed at apple jokes from Mrs. Howard's Gr. 3/4 class and learned some apple facts from Miss Raspopov's Gr. 2/3 class. We then counted down with the apple song and bit into our apples at the same moment for one loud CRUNCH in the gym.
