Library Notices - Overdue/Lost/Damaged Books
If you receive a note home from the library that your child has an outstanding book, please send a quick email to our Teacher Librarian, Mrs. Faint - - to clarify or give an update. Email tends to be the quickest and easiest way to resolve the problem. If you know you have lost or damaged a book, please send in the specified amount to replace it, or you may purchase the exact title and send it in with your child. Thanks for partnering in teaching our kids how to take care of our books.

Forest of Reading
We participate each year in the annual Forest of Reading program hosted by the Ontario Library Association (OLA). Selected books are read to each class and the classes vote on their favourite books. School Council provides funding for the library to purchase the Forest of Reading books each year.

Scholastic Book Fairs
We usually offer two Scholastic Canada book fairs set up in our library each year, one in early December and one in early June that run for 4 days with shopping hours available during and after school. Funds raised from these book fairs are used for our library to purchase new books.

Indigo Love of Reading
We participate in and support the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation and their annual campaignIn 2018, our school was also adopted by a local store which was amazing! Thank you to everyone who supported the Indigo Adopt a School program from Sept. 15th to Oct. 7th, 2018. We received over $7,000 to purchase new books for our library!!!
