Gift of Giving Back
We are excited to announce that Mohawk Gardens Public School is partnering with Robert Bateman High School who have been selected to host the Gift of Giving Back drive in November. Mohawk Gardens would appreciate your support by bringing a non-perishable food item or a small monetary donation for this worthwhile cause. Donations can be brought to our 50th anniversary celebration on Sat. Oct. 20th from 12 to 4 pm and to the school's office over the next couple weeks until Nov. 6th.

UPDATE: Mohawk Gardens donated 1,522 lbs of food to the 2018 Gift of Giving Back!

Gift of Giving Back is a food drive that calls upon many groups within the community to raise food items in support of different charities (Burlington Food Bank, Carpenter Hospice, Compassion Society, Food for Life, Halton Women's Place, Salvation Army). Most of the food is raised by local minor and rep sports teams (hockey, gymnastics, baseball). Every two years a different high school is chosen to host the drive in November when all the food from various places is brought to the school and this year the location is Bateman. The drive runs from October 20th to November 6th and the food is brought to Bateman on November 7th and 8th.
